"Access to education and culture is not a privilege, but a right. Our job is to accompany the most disadvantaged in achieving their potential. I act with AEA because I believe in education for all. AEA has been developing programs for over 25 years, touching all the corners of the earth. I share their values."

Mr. Le Fur began supporting AEA through child sponsorship. Managing Director of a leading media agency in Europe, he is now a spokesman for the educational cause.

Laurent Haynez, Vice President- Finance, Tax and Legal

"I discovered AEA thanks to child sponsoring. The strongest aspect of child sponsoring at AEA is that the staff keeps you informed about community life, local development and the role of education in constructing sustainable futures. Today, I am convinced of the urgent need to educate throughout the world. Education enables economic progress, the promotion of human rights, opportunities for women and girls and, above all, it improves living conditions. AEA is a unique organization due to its culturally-appropriate interventions and its amazing capacity to mobilize local and institutional actors. I am a chief financial officer and I appreciate the quality and rigor of the management at AEA. Their professionalism in the elaboration of strategic intervention and the efficiency of their expenses in relation to their impacts is noteworthy."

Previously Financial and Legal Manager of La Redoute in France, Mr. Haynez began a corporate partnership with AEA through cause-related marketing. Now Vice-President at CFAO, the leader in specialized distribution in Africa and French overseas departments, he continues to support AEA.

Ollivier Douge, Owner, Douge International

"Why do I support AEA ? I don't believe in blind, unilateral development. It is necessary for everyone to join forces on the international level. I grew up in a multicultural environment and I am strongly engaged in improving education and the condition of women. Citizenship also takes place within a business. We devote 10% of our turnover to employee training and up to 7% of our profit to various causes."

Having already donated to AEA in support of a project in Niger, Mr. Douge wanted to further invest in the educational cause. Founder of an executive search firm specialized in international recruiting, he encourages others to take part in this development.

"As an old Chinese proverb says, 'You have to give your feet meaning'. You have also to give meaning to life and AEA is an organization that allows you to do this by supporting education. Education is the best way to change attitudes and enable the development of people throughout the world. When I was Managing Director of Amora Maille (Unilever), we built a partnership with AEA. This proved to be an essential tool in addressing our world's problems. For example, the partnership enabled AEA to successfully set up a mission in India for the education of young girls."

Previously Managing Director of a subsidiary of Unilever, Mr. Girier established a corporate partnership with AEA. Currently Managing Director at Rians/Triballat, a top corporation in the French diary industry, he shares his creativity and managerial experience with AEA. He has also been a child sponsor since 1993.
