AEA North America :

Citizens in Action
By initiating and participating in volunteer and awareness activities, Americans and Canadians are becoming active citizens of the world. Children, teenagers and adults alike are helping spread AEA's message, creating solidarity between their co-workers, family members and friends. They are also helping raise funds for AEA projects. Some recent activities include:

The French Club at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington recently organized a fundraising benefit to help support AEA. Their event, "soirée parisienne", helped collect $1,000 for AEA projects. Merci beaucoup!

The French School of Miami and its students got involved by exchanging letters with African school children and by collecting funds to help improve school environments in Togo, Benin and Senegal.

AEA in Action
La Fondation Paul Gérin-Lajoie, a canadian NGO, recently organized an international conference on education in Montreal. AEA was among the participants, analyzing the current state of education and creating strategies to encourage policymakers and other officials to fully respect their obligations toward education.
