What are the « Etats Generaux »? It is a great period of discussions about the association and its mission. All the stakeholders who make a commitment to Aide et Action International: volunteers, sponsors, projects actors, governing bodies, employees and partners are invited to participate to these discussions. The ETG were organized for the first time in Aide et Action’s history in 1998. They renewed in 2004 and then became regular meetings. The new edition will thus take place in 2011. The participants from all origins will establish, during these ETG discussions, the great orientations of the associative project. The ETG allows the association to give itself the means to improve and also to adapt to a world in constant change. For this reason, on the occasion of each ETG, a reflection process about the associative life runs for several months. It ends with various propositions for the association’s future. At the end of these exchanges, a unifying project emerges which then gets validated by the governing bodies of Aide et Action International. | 3rd ETG'S EVENTS: 1998 > 1st ETG They assert Aide et Action as an association of solidarity and development. 2004 > 2nd ETG This second round of discussions opens the way to the democratic and international sharing of the decisions in the association. 2008 > 2nd ETG Review ETG This study leads to the publishing of a book about the results of the 2nd ETG’s resolutions and the challenges to come. 2011 > 3rd ETG This new episode of ETG will lead to some fundamentals orientations for the associative stand of Aide et Action International. |
