Going beyond the concept of mere donations, sponsorships with Aide et Action offer you an opportunity to build a true relationship with your sponsor child as well as various stakeholders of the project through a proven system of correspondences and exchanges.

“Educating a Child” sponsorship:
This sponsorship module helps you build a personalized relationship with your sponsor child who also is an ambassador of his or her community. You get an opportunity to support the child’s education for 6 or 8 years. You will also receive your sponsor children’s photograph and they write to you 3 times a year to tell you about themselves and their life in the village.

“Project Support” sponsorship:
This sponsorship module puts you directly in touch with the stakeholders intervening in the field (school teachers, project coordinators…). The sponsorship could last between 3 to 5 years depending upon the project. We ensure that the stakeholders of the project you are supporting keep you informed about its developments on a regular basis.
Communication
Irrespective of the sponsorship module you choose, our project coordinators and their teams will send you a letter to help you understand the specific context; they will inform you about the country, its culture and tell you about the various developments that are taking place. You will receive your first letter at the end of the school term in which your sponsorship begins.
As an organization we believe in fostering communication and regular exchanges between sponsors and stakeholders; we strongly feel that your letters as sponsors encourage communities and local authorities in their developmental efforts. And yes, your letters to children nurtures them and offers them moral support as they reflect your interest and concern for their education and their life in general.
Your financial commitment
Your sponsorship will cost you a minimum of 20 Euros per month.
Whatever the type of sponsorship you choose, the money that you entrust Aide et Action with is not directly given to the families or schools. It will be pooled into the resources allotted for the Association’s projects and these are indentified and planned in the beginning of the year. The value addition of your sponsorship comes precisely from the solidarity and relationship that is created between you and the community thanks to the communication that is established over the project as a whole.
Your Sponsorship will help finance:
- Supporting and training people in Project Management. This is ensured by our local teams or local partner NGO’s depending on the context.
- Project operations (infrastructure building or rehabilitation, equipping class rooms & schools, training, community sensitization & awareness campaigns)
We at Aide et Action accept sponsorships on your behalf with an ultimate objective of progressively supporting communities gain financial autonomy of their projects.
