We have had a programme in Tanzania since 1996, in the region of Lake Victoria near Mwanza.
In partnership with the Minister of Education and other NGOs, our main priorities are:
- Improvement of quality of education through teacher training (direct support for the creation of Teacher Resource Centres)
- Reinforcement of local organisations, particularly of school committees.
- Improvement of material conditions within the schools: textbooks, technical materials, construction and renovation of school buildings…
